I love the aforementioned options on the desktop app. I subscribe to calendars published by my kids' school and they list all of the events for that day on one calendar. That fills up my day block on iOS causing it to have to do the fade to a second page deal every few seconds. (see attached photo) On desktop those calendar events are compressed and out of the way but I still know that there is something from the school happening that day and if I want to know what it is I can just click on it to check, or roll the mouse over it to see the pop-up. I understand the hesitancy to add it to iOS as there is no "mouse hover" to quickly see what is compressed but I propose compressing it to look exactly like on desktop but you tap on the block of compressed events as a whole and either they uncompress and fall in line with the other events or a pop-up shows the uncompressed events.
